I posted this video on Instagram while I was teaching a private class in Kansas. I was just having fun trying something new. I actually made a direct contact with another IG station in KY. It worked!! The crazy thing is this ridiculous video gained me 4k followers since I posted it. I guess people like a dude acting like a crackhead in a hotel with his HF radio 😅
All I did was tape my 40 meter antenna to the walls using electrical tape in a loop configuration.
Yes there would have been better options for this like a loop antenna but all I had was a dipole so thats what I used.
