  1. I picked up the latest version with the numbered keypad for direct frequency entry off of eBay used. For about $80, I got the radio, soft case that it fits into to protect it, three rechargeable batteries, and a charger that can use USB power to charge, or folding AC plug that can be charged from your wall outlet.

    It has great reception, and the batteries last a very long time considering I use the speaker instead of the ear buds. I consider it a great investment and keep it stored in a faraday box. Occasionally I bring it out to the campfire to listen to SSB. I love this thing!
