  1. I own one of these radios and can attest to it’s function, reliability, and reception. I use it often to search thru shortwave broadcasts and HAM radio SSB communications. The audio is very good and the lithium battery lasts for hours. The battery can be charged inside the radio via USB cable but I also have the charger that’s offered which can accept USB power and also can be plugged into 120V AC socket. The display also lights up which is nifty as I like to bring it out at night when sitting around the campfire or camping. The radio also has an alarm which I do not use, memory channels if you want them, and an ambient temperature readout.

I keep mine stored in a small metal box for faraday protection. The only thing I would change is I wish it had a light up keypad.
