This class will get you started into your journey with Emergency Communications. Class covers:

  • Monitoring equipment
  • Radio theory
  • Antenna theory
  • Line of sight comms
  • Long distance comms
  • Digital comms
  • Secure comms
  • Encryption
  • And more!

Gear needed for ECOMMS:

  • Notepad and pen
  • Any radio or scanning gear if you have it but not needed.
  • Water, chair, snacks, lunch, and sunscreen
