If you can’t tell already I love this device. This thing is actually competing with a scanner as which piece of equipment should be picked up first. In this video I’m giving a detailed description of how you use it to find an unknown frequency. Remember you can plug a speaker into it and not need the scanner. The scanner gives a better idea of what the actual frequency is.

I’m assuming they made some major improvements since the price point is quite a bit higher. I have a standard NanoVNA so I’m curious if upgrading is worth it. Keep up the great content!

I do believe they are 2 different systems. The NanoVNA is mainly a SWR meter and the TinySA Ultra is a spectrum analyzer. I could be wrong though lol

Now there is a TinySA that is cheaper than the TinySA Ultra and doesn’t do as much. The Ultra will go up to 5 GHZ i do believe. Thats why I got it. I wanted to maybe be able to pickup drones with it. If I was going to buy one I would definitely get the Ultra
