My main problem with this article is that as far as I can find I cannot schedule a message to be sent by a digital program off a table. You have to hit send on the tablet to send a message. There is no way to have the tablet send a message 60 seconds from now that I can find. If I’m wrong please point me in the right direction.

You could probably use the crossband repeat function on a tyt UV8000 ht, to Tx from a drone. Have your tablet and radio set up on the ground, to transmit on uhf to the drone’s UV8000 ht above. Have the drone’s ht transmit out on vhf, since you’re obviously trying to transmit further. And now I know what I’ll be playing w this weekend. Odds of a 10w ht contact 15 miles away with a drone at 500’?
