VarAC is probably my favorite digital mode right now. I paid for the higher speed Vara HF modem since I use VarAC so much. I love the ability to send files, pictures, and drop messages into others’ inboxes even when no one is around. It also has the relay ability and storing messages in someone elses computer for the intended recipient just like JS8CALL. It’s a very handy digital mode. You can find me parked on 20 during the day and 40 at night on the VarAC frequencies.

VarAC also has a significant advantage for our purposes: It does not rely on NTC / GPS time and require sub-second accuracy to function.
This is my biggest issue with the GhostNet initiative, which I’ve tried to point out to S2.
