This is a must watch if you are using the Anytone 878s. I’m sure the Btech 6×2 have the same problems. Something to keep in mind.

I’ve done a bit of knife training with Libre Fighting and this video made me cringe just as bad as that class. I don’t want to EVER get into a knife fight.

As you can see from the video changing the polarization of your antenna drastically reduces you RF signature. I do believe it’s about an 12 DB losss or somewhere close to that. Since 99% of VHF/UHF radios are vertically polarized it only makes sense to run ours horizontally when the time comes.

I still need to do some minor modifications but this setup from the 2nd video works well.
