I picked up the NanoVNA a few months back. I figured since I’m making so many antennas I needed a antenna analyzer. I looked at the RigExpert but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money.
The NanoVNA is fairly difficult to figure out. I had it for awhile and couldn’t really sort through all the settings. A couple weeks ago I figured I would ask my trusty friend YouTube for some help. The video below is the one I used to figure out how to measure SWR.
If you’re doing alot of antenna building you may want to consider the NanoVNA.

I’ve been thinking of getting one as well. Curious, were you not using an antenna analyzer before for all of your antenna builds? Thanks for all of the knowledge you share.

Nope I was not. 😄 I was just using the antenna formula and cut them to that length and use them. I didn’t seem to have a problem.

Cool
I didn’t think it was absolutely necessary.
