Not Much Going On

I haven’t been posting much lately. I haven’t seen anything cool worth posting about. Everything is the same old shit. Hell even my content is the same shit. How many times can you film your direct NVIS contact simulating using HF radio in a Guerrilla warfare scenario? Apparently alot haha I have some new equipment that is being sent to me to promote so there will be some new content there.

I did finish OH8STN book. It is filled with great information on solar power. I actually learned a few things. My negative on the book is the editing. It was not good. Multiple paragraphs repeated, lots of misspelling, and some AI writing problems. No one writes about themselves in the 3rd person so I assumed that was AI writing part of it.

I talked to OH8STN about the problems in the book and he is going to update it. I have been following him for years and was excited for his book.

I did purchase a SAP as a less than lethal weapon. I have been putting a bit of practice with it. This particular SAP it too large to be a convenient concealed carry tool. I’m going to try a smaller version. It definitely hits hard though.

A few weeks ago my buddy and I were out hunting petroglyphs. He had a chest bag made by Hill People Gear that he strapped on while we were out hiking. I didn’t have anything like that so I thought I would build me a cheaper Amazon version.

The pictures below show what I came up with. I just put enough supplies to keep me alive maybe one night or two. I actually have some extensive Wilderness survival training so I don’t need a whole lot so I just put things in there that I can’t easily produce in the wilderness.

So the contents are a headlamp, multi-tool, whistle, Flint rod, paracord, signaling mirror, small fixed blade knife, water purification, two mylar blankets, and a water bag.

Tooblite Mini is connected to the outside of the bag. I have been using these reusable glow sticks from UV Paqlite for years. I love their products. I have one of their glow sticks hanging off most my bags.
