Good post on this reference. I was issued my first Ranger handbook in ’77, still have it. Its about 3/8″ thick, saw the new version at the clothing sales store on post and it was huge. The old version pretty much covered all of our missions, light infantry battalion scout platoon at the time. Good reference folks
